Veterans Day

Today, America honors past and present military veterans: those citizens who have served in some branch of the military and who may even have fought in a war. This date is also Armistice Day, which is sometimes referred to as Remembrance Day, when countries around the world agreed to end World War I in 1918. (The agreement happened in the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.)
