Rejoice in reading this month!

May is a busy month for readers! Not only is it Get Caught Reading Month, it is also Latino Books Month. Both of these events are sponsored by the Association of American Publishers.

Get Caught Reading Month celebrates the joy of picking up a book, no matter what your age or what types of books you like to read. Latino Books Month encourages Latino communities to read, in addition to highlighting the literary contributions of Latino authors in both Spanish and English.

The NCC Libraries contain books of all types, so jump into Get Caught Reading Month with your favorite genre! We also have adult and children's books by celebrated Latino authors, available in both English and Spanish. Here's a sampling of our Spanish-language adult fiction and poetry titles:
