This Day In History: Lewis Carroll

Today marks the anniversary of the birth of author Lewis Carroll in 1832. Best known for his novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, Carroll (named Charles Dodgson at birth) is sure to get lots of attention this year. Tim Burton will soon release his live-action film Alice in Wonderland, starring Johnny Depp. Carroll also published a number of volumes of humorous verse and poems.
