Celebrate National Poetry Month @ NCC!

April is National Poetry Month, an event that we look forward to every year at Northampton Community College. Join in the festivities tomorrow (April 15) -- Len Roberts Poetry Day -- when we honor the memory of former NCC English professor and poet Len Roberts. You may recognize Professor Roberts from the sculpture located in the main campus Library (near the New Books section), which was installed in 2008.

This year, Len Roberts Poetry Day will feature a visit by the internationally recognized poet and novelist Marge Piercy, who will read from her work. If you're interested in familiarizing yourself with Piercy's writing, be sure to check out some of her books from the NCC Libraries. The following titles will be featured in the National Poetry Month book display at the main campus Library.
